Day 1Nairobi Nairobi / Tsavo West
On arrival pick up from J.K.I.A and drive towards Nairobi/Mombasa highway to Tsavo West National Park. At 20, 807 sq. Kms, Tsavo is the largest park in the country. Tsavo West is famed for the notorious 'Man Eaters of Tsavo'. The man-eating lions preyed on the railway linesmen building the great Uganda Railway. The park offers remarkable views with a variety of habitats ranging from mountains, river forests, lakes, and wooded grassland. All meals and overnight at Voyager Ziwani Camp [Full Board]
Day 2Tsavo West Tsavo West
Spend a further day in the park on game-viewing drives. The Park features the Shetani & Chaimu Lava Flows, excellent bird watching with over 600 species. Apart from the elephant population, there are many lions - some undoubtedly the descendants of the famous Man-eaters of Tsavo! Among the less common animals to be found are the fringed-eared Oryx, the gerenuk, and the lesser kudu. The carnivores in addition to lions include serval, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, and caracal. Mzima Springs is yet another feature whose source is the Chyulu Hills. An observation platform and an underwater glass tank provide a special vantage point to view this remarkable oasis. Day 3Amboseli Tsavo West/ Amboseli
After breakfast morning drive via Chyulu Hills to Amboseli National Park, one of the most popular parks on the Tanzania border offering unique spectacle; the backdrop is the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain proudly standing at 19,344ft, sometimes known as the 'ROOF OF AFRICA'. Lunch will be served at Kilima Safari Camp. The afternoon game drives until sunset. Day 4Lake Naivasha Amboseli/ Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha. Arrive in time for lunch at the Lodge. In the afternoon clients have the option of staying in the lodge enjoying facilities such as the swimming pool or enjoying a boat ride and nature walk on Crescent Island (at an extra cost). The crescent-shaped peninsula where part of the shooting of the movie 'Out of Africa' was shot. On the island, you will enjoy an unforgettable safari in the heart of this enchanting landscape. Day 5Lake Nakuru Lake Nakuru
After breakfast with packed lunch, depart for Nakuru Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive, a protected game sanctuary for endangered species such as the Black/ White rhino, and Rothschild Giraffe among other usual games such as the leopard and Lion. The park is world-renowned for its millions of pink Flamingoes found around the lake. Late afternoon transfer to the Lake Naivasha area for dinner and overnight at Sawela Lodge [Full Board]
Day 6-7Masai Mara Lake Naivasha/ Masai Mara
After early breakfast, morning drive across the Rift Valley escarpment to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at Ol Moran Tented Camp. During your two days, you have the opportunity to explore this great reserve in depth. You will have the chance to see elephants, giraffes, prides of lions, and thousands of impalas, topi, grants, and Thomson's gazelle. The Mara is the scene of the annual migration of millions of wildebeest up from the Serengeti plains in search of water and grasses. While in Mara, you will have the option to float above the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem on board a hot air balloon followed by a gourmet champagne breakfast (at an extra cost). Day 8Nairobi Masai Mara/ Nairobi/ Depart
